Participation in this project is a personal concern for me because in my environment two friends are directly affected by it and with the support of different networks it could have changed their lives. Likewise, these difficulties come up again and again in my professional context, because often children of the EULE are also affected by it. Through my motivation and commitment, I get the chance to improve the future and thus the lives of these children. I am convinced that children are our greatest potential for change in society as a whole and that we can create a better world!

I am a very well organized and structured person, which leads to the fact that I am punctual. In addition, I am deliberate in my actions and expressions. In addition, my greatest strength would be that I can easily remember dates, deadlines and discussed information.
Since childhood, I have been interested in the protection and care of minorities. Over the years, I have realized how important women's and children's rights are to me personally. Through my internship and work experiences, I developed an interest injustice in many areas, which led me to study at MCI. For this reason, I am very excited to fulfil my interest in a project that focuses on helping children escape the effects of their parents' illness and prevent effects on their own health and by identifying children.

My strengths are that I can listen very attentively and am therefore very detailed when documenting conversations and note every detail. This strength allows me to fulfill my role as a secretary in the team. Also, my English skills are of a good standard, so I can accurately record conversations with our practice partners in English and translate them into German afterward. Moreover, I am very good at observing happenings and in this way, I can get an overview of the situation. This is particularly important as it helps to identify and respond to the needs of those involved. And last but not least, I can work very intensively and persistently on a topic, which is very useful, for example, when researching literature.
I have been interested in the topic of psychosocial health for a long time. For me, it is frightening how many children and young people are affected by it. According to experts, this number is on the rise, and therefore it is necessary to deal with it and, above all, to work more on the early detection and prevention of mental illness. For this reason, I am very delighted to have the opportunity to work on this project.

One of my greatest strengths is my empathy and willingness to help. I love working with people, I'm interested in their stories and their attitudes and if necessary I help them as much as I can. That fulfills me! Another strength of mine is that I am open to a wide variety of topics and am usually very enthusiastic about them.
I am very interested in social and political happenings and follow them regularly, especially human rights and environmental protection are close to my heart. Furthermore, I am interested in languages, especially French, and love listening to music. Due to my past career as a Nordic Combined athlete, I am still very passionate about sports.
I chose the Village Project because I believe that mental health is very important and that through the project, children can have a better childhood.
